Forum Discussion
@Catphish37 wrote:@Mickstudio1308 The purpose of this forum is not to make you happy. It's for people who paid money for the game to express their thoughts about it; some good, some bad.
You do understand that we can easily click on your profile and see your comment history don't you... not just this forum but also the others you have posted on. I can see at least 3 times where you have claimed to 'never buying another EA product again', being warned by admins to moderate yourself, and managing to throw in plenty of blanked out profanity into the mix.
It seems to me that you're a serial complainer who constantly threatens EA with losing you as a customer but you keep joining every new game forum to express your disgust at the product you have purchased. Can you not see why this might be seen as slightly suspicious?
Hey, everyone. Lets get back on topic, please. If these comments continue, we'll have to lock this thread. We appreciate all feedback as long as it's constructive. Please be respectful of other's opinions. Thank you.

Thank you!
- 2 years ago@TriumphRider Be cautious, I never said that people need to be put in their place, but that some complaint need a bit of relativity.
- 2 years ago@TriumphRider I'm saying that the forum doesn't represent the overall satisfaction for this game.
- 2 years ago@Mickstudio1308 Hahaha...I'm good, my man. Pretty sure the moderator is attempting to do exactly what I was saying, so they are seeing it 👀.
Complaints need to be put in their place...who makes complaints, people. Passive agressive...BUT, I shall let the moderators smack the 🍆.
OP believes game has issues. Nothing wrong with that...I believe it does too. You don't, it's an awesome game. I'm good with that too. Telling someone their complaints are not valid, doesn't help. It's their thread...in no way is Passive aggressive replies helpful. The moderator is literally here because he is noticing this. - 2 years ago@TriumphRider I very like to read other people opinion on the game, but if you post your opinion on this forum you have to be ready to hear people that doesn't agree with you.
- 2 years ago@Mickstudio1308 These are all opinions. I understand you are dissatisfied with their's...it's OK to disagree, but pretty sure moderators are here to advise what is appropriate and what's not supposed to be in the forum. If they thought a thread shouldn't be here then they will do something...but none of us should come in here and tell someone, you are wrong, this isn't valid, etc. And yes, this was done here with backhanded comments...someone doesn't have to call someone a name for them to imply it.
I honestly think the game has issues too. I've expressed myself and I have had the same thing that happened in here happen to me...of course I hammered it home. Guess what, my comments were deleted and so was the other guy's. Seems like it's literally like 5 people that do so, no one else too...very weird. - 2 years ago@Mickstudio1308 Partner. I literally said that is cool it's HOW it is being done...which is why the moderator came in here.
I completely respect you thinking the gamehas very few issues. I think it's good in a lot of ways myself...which is why I keep playing. However, I think it has issues too. We all can agree to disagree, that's respectable...but what was said here, anyone can read through the lines (again, why moderator is here). - 2 years ago@TriumphRider For me it's a discussion and I think that these type of debate are valid and I don't see any irrespectfull comments on both way.

I just want to see more people say that this game is amazing hahaha

@Mickstudio1308Hahaha. I feel ya. Listen, I really do enjoy the game...it's a lot of fun. I love golf in video games and in real life. I think the graphics are great, among other things. I have a few random issues with swing mechanics and ball physics, but I actually play pretty well.
No game is ever perfect...I mean, that's a fact, haha. BUT, I can also say this is a dang good golf game.
I'll also say, I could honestly care less if people crap on it...it won't change the way I feel and it really won't stop people from buying it and playing. Some things I don't agree with people on because I don't experience them, but I can agree with other criticisms.
I actually think different platforms and the way the game reacts can be an issue as well - EA_Aljo2 years ago

Hey, everyone. Final warning. This thread needs to get back on topic. If there are any more comments discussing the opinions of others, we'll have to lock this thread. Again, as long as feedback is constructive, it's going to be allowed. This is the best way to let us know what your issues with the game are. We are all here due to a shared love of the game of golf. Let's come together and appreciate the input from everyone taking the time to provide it. It's all very valuable feedback that gets back to the dev team for consideration for future updates. Let's not have this important information get buried under off-topic discussions.
Thanks, everyone.

I really want to say this game is great. The graphics and detail there are amazing. However this game was very obviously rushed to production given the amount of bugs that have been provided. I am playing the 10 hour trial in order to determine if I want to purchase it but given what I've seen so far I am extremely hesitant to do so. It took a week before I could even play the game as it would error out immediately. Then once the first patch came out I could finally play quick rounds but the career mode is broken so I assume I have to wait again before that works. If I had purchased this game at launch I would've been extremely upset.
Its not a bad thing to delay the launch of a game in order to have a better product that everyone can enjoy. Look at Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga, they announced it then it got delayed 3 years I think in the end. I still got it and have enjoyed playing it and at least in my playing there were no problems. This game plays likes its in the first stage of Beta, at best.
For a game I've been looking forward to, this has been a major disappointment at launch. Hopefully they can fix the issues for a better experience before my month of EA Play runs out. Otherwise they've lost someone that was willing to purchase the game then had this mess turn them away.

What are finding is the issue with the career mode? is it not working at all? what platform?
@bintrepid81I don't understand why some people seems to have problem like (Career mode is broken). Everything is fine on my side. Really want to hear you with some detail on these problem and what platform.
@theycagednon@Mickstudio1308 I am playing on a PC (which exceeds all the requirements) When I go into the Career mode section I get one of 2 screens (its not consistant which one I get).
1. I'll be asked to select which settings I want for game play (how many holes to play per round for example) and whether I make changes or not the game freezes at this point. I can't back out, can't move forward but the music still plays and graphics move in the background. All I can do is use Task Manager to end the game.
2. I'll get a screen for where I want to start my career and when selecting any option I see 2 gold rings in the lower right corner acting like something is loading but nothing does. I can back out but can't get past this point.
If you check the bug reports section and in tech support section I am not alone in this problem and it is across all platforms. Why some have no issue and some do is a mystery to me. - 2 years ago@bintrepid81 Sorry to hear that. I think that the game on console seems to be more stable obviously.
- 2 years ago@Mickstudio1308 Unfortunately I have an Xbox One and its not compatible otherwise that is how I would've played it.
