This game had been running flawlessly with no issues on steam deck from a couple days after launch until last night. Then this update was released. I currently have not gotten this game to even launch since downloading this update. This was shaping up to be my favorite game and now I can’t even play it. If anyone knows a work around please help me. EA is ignoring my support cases (I submitted one for a different reason over a week ago and have gotten absolutely no communication as well as one today about this). I hope the community can help me out. Thank you all

I must suck at these forums. I wrote this for EA PGA Tour. I was in a forum post for that game and hit add new and somehow I guess posted for battlefield? My bad. Not sure if you can help with the PGA tour game or not,

Understood. I appreciate that response. The compatibility checkmark saying it will work and placement in the “recommended for steam deck” section in the steam store is all valve and not at all dictated by EA? If that’s the case I’ll reach out to valve and ask for their help trying to get it to work and hope they will take down the misleading claims of compatibility from the store

@EA_Leeuw Too bad. I was about to purchase PGA Tour to play on my Steam Deck. Now I can't even play Madden. EA losing money by not making sure their games work on the Deck.

This is good to know. I may grab it for the deck also. You using stick or 3 click on it? Think 3 click would be easier and save the stick a bit.

@LeazesnDR I’ve had no success using any version of proton. I’m still getting the EA App issue on both of my decks.

Very annoying, but uninstalling and reinstalling the game works for me, but have had to do it every time there is an update, even a minor one...hope this issue is fixed soon

How often does the bug occur? Rarely (0% - 9%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I'm playing via steam deck, when starting the game the error occurs.
What happens when the bug occurs? I can't start the game, I need to uninstall and install again.
What do you expect to see? let it be fixed, this situation is very uncomfortable.
