Well I don't think giving customers the option to play with their exclusive Frostbite engine on a course creator was an option. And they had no chance to blow the competition out of the water with this game. Just about all my friends list are playing 2K23 because it's on PS4, they don't have a PS5.

You make a good point, but this was a conscious decision made by the developers of the game. They obviously thought flash was more important than substance when creating this game, and could sell this idea to consumers.

Since this game is a live service as opposed to a yearly title, it’s not out of the question that clubs/societies/co-op career/ course designer etc could all happen at some point.
Before then, the biggest issue imho is play from sand and the rough. For me I don’t think gameplay is nearly as bad as most on this forum think that is with that one exception. Rough and Sand need to actually be penalizing. There needs to be moderate to significant reduction in distance, accuracy, and spin from those across the board.

Agreed. I mentioned the rough and sand be much more penal in another post.
Also, the good people that participate in this board are a very small percentage of the people that play this game
Thanks!

I'm not sure what you mean by good people?
I assume you mean those looking for a more challenging/simulated/realistic experience. I would argue that the most vocal in this forum are coming from this group. Hence the larege number of negative comments.
But to say they are a small percentage of the people supporting the game I would say guess would be incorrect.
I would only suggest this because of the lack of players in any of the social events. It appears people are having issues getting matches online. I believe this has been an issue since day one, and has only gotten worse over time.
- 2 years ago@7AnimalMother Excellent post! I completely agree with your assessment on rough. Definitely needs to be more penal. Blast from bunker isn't as bad. It's really the pick shot from bunkers that is ridiculously over powered! It's almost like EA became enamored with providing TOO many options instead of just providing challenging gameplay with basic golf shots.
