I've not played career mode which is why I'm not able to tell you where the option is. I really do think there is one as per my post above though. Hopefully somebody who knows where it is will see this and help.
I do think there should be an option for two rounds per tournament btw. Is there a single round option? I thought there was but I may be misremembering.
Here's proof that simulating is definitely possible and if you ask there I'm sure somebody will be able to tell you how to do this:

- @Ultrasonic_77 this is called "quick" play. The CPU picks 4 or 5 holes per round for you to play. This is very different than how simulation in other EA Sports games.
