Like I wrote on the other thread, the writing is on the wall... this was a press release from Feb 28.
EA announced it will lay off 5% of its workforce, about 670 employees.
“We are also sunsetting games and moving away from development of future licensed IP that we do not believe will be successful in our changing industry,” CEO Andrew Wilson wrote in a memo to employees.

A little over a year and it’s game over. I remembered Rory lasted longer than current game.
I remembered one EA game that started out disastrously and made a colossal comeback one year later. That was Star Wars Battlefront 2. The gameplay was great with little bugs at release. What fueled the comeback was adding content for Clone Wars and Sequel Trilogy. EA PGA Tour needs a massive bug fix and upgrade to replicate the success of Battlefront 2. The problem with PGA Tour is the fanbase for Star Wars is a million times more than golf. That was where the revenue for Battlefront came from.
A golfer that is just as Iconic as Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Rey and Darth Vader is needed. Tiger was that last iconic golfer; that was the reason TW14 was that amazing.
