Private matches don’t work with 4 people. Works fine with 3 people. When the 4th person joins it crashes. Happens almost every time for me. Worked fine for the whole Ryder cup season but since then has gotten progressively worse. Please help.

Would it be possible to get more information on this?

- Are you getting an error message?
- Does this happen to any other account on the device?
- What type of network are you using? (Wired, Wireless, Hotspot)
- Is anything else happening?
- If possible, share a Screenshot or Clip...
- If on PC, please share a DxDiag file and an EA app Error ID Number

- No error message; everyone just gets disconnected when 4th person tries to join. At that point the "Lost Connection" message appears
- I've not tried with other accounts on my device, but I have a friend who's having the same issue and it usually works if he switches to a different psn account.
- Currently using wireless connection but I've tried wired as well. I have fiber internet and a stable connection. All other games and devices in my house work fine.
- I have inserted a video of what happens. This example is a private foursome match but the same thing happens with both private stroke play modes, as well as online ranked modes. When 4th person tries to join, it crashes.

Any suggestions? I’m supposed to start a foursome tournament with my friends this week but unless something changes that will not be possible.

Any update on this? I’d really like to play private matches with my friends but have no idea why it won’t work. The issue does seem to be related to psn account somehow.

Apologies for the delay, and thanks for the additional information and video. We've passed this on for the team to be aware of.
I did want to check if everyone in the group has had a moment to grab the latest 11.1 update from the team. If so have there been any changes?
If not can someone else try inviting everyone and seeing if they get kicked?

This happens all the time, now. the most annoying thing about it is that it happens with people you have been playing with for months. And now you can't play together. It's not great.

To confirm do you get kicked as well only when a 4th person tries to join a private match? (if so read below for the requested info)
Hi @19c0bd54bd42c522 You mentioned that when someone switches PSN IDs they can connect, do you need to switch your PSN account for 4-player matches to work or does the last friend joining need to switch?
Also, is it the same friend every time, or just whoever joins last?

Would it be possible to get the following information on both your accounts and the friends you are playing with when the error occurs?
- Which platform do you play on?
- What are the PSN IDs of the 4 accounts trying to play a private match?
- Does everyone own the PGA Tour on their own accounts or game share?
- What was the last Date/Time you tried and received the error?

Last time it happened was yesterday with 3 other people I tried to play with which I don’t remember their PSN ids
so yeah, when the fourth person joins and two or more players in that lobby aren’t compatible, the lobby will crash and disconnect everyone from the servers and it’ll happen every time without fail. The person who needs to switch psn accounts is whoever isn’t compatible with one of the accounts in which in this case it would be big_tom007 and I believe chahornets. So big_tom007 would need to switch to his Bagger_Vance_007 psn account and then the match will suddenly work with the 4 of us

Summarize your bug There are widespread connectivity issues in online gaming (any mode). Certain players crash the entire lobby when they join the lobby. This happens in match play, foursomes, and stroke. For example, there could be 10 players waiting in the lobby, and as soon as the 11th player joins, the whole lobby loses connection and gets sent back to the home screen. The same issue occurs often while trying to set up private games. It has been happening since game launch with zero fixes on EA's part. Several players have tried all of the troubleshooting tips offered on various forums and on this website. Nothing works. It makes the game unplayable at times
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not sure how, other than trying to play online and eventually seeing this happen.

What do you expect to see? I expect a fix that works, other than continuous useless suggestions on how to improve our connectivity, which has no issue on any other EA games.

- @ba22d013a5b3b0c2 sadly, this is common these days. There is a topic in the technical forums about the same issue relating to private matches. The bug is the same. Some players, when they join, automatically crash the entire lobby. https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Private-matches-don-t-work-with-4-people/td-p/13437540 Please EA address this issue for the next season that starts in 8 days.
8 days? Where did you hear this. Pro Pass has another 6 weeks to run.
