Just noticed loads of played matches disappearing from players. Around 50 for myself.

It's all a big mess. In season 1, it shows i have played 16 games, Katy only 3. Sis played less game I did and it showed she played 17 games. It looks like they all gave us the win for our weekly, and fill it up with some leftover for WRF and ERF.
@Wildesie When i first got rewards for the free 4 hole daily yesterday it showed that my season 1 had around 230 total results. Then shortly after, it showed me with 8 wins, 8 WRF and 4 ERF. I really believe that it mostly just overwrote my real season 1 stats but I can't say for sure since I don't remember how many tournaments I played way back then. I do remember there were 8 tournaments per day back then and I did them all every day so I know I had a lot in the first couple seasons. Losing 230 wins in 1 day is horrible, especially considering everyone else lost way less than that.
I'm angry as it is, I can just imagine for you, it must feel like a punch in the gut.
I doubt they reset anything, the game is abandoned, on auto-pilot since the beginning of Season 12 and was programmed a certain way with a timeline. Glitch are showing all over the place, like Weekly at East Lake last week. Commentary has been all over the place lately too, nothing with what I just did. Pro-pass are a thing of the past.
And just like in EA Rory and TW14, it will come to a point where tournaments will be undefined and we won't be able to play them.

I was finally close to crack the top 100, and then EA took away so many wins, it's ridiculous. Leaving me with only 3 games played for this new season 1, while top guys have played close to a hundred, CRAZY! MADDENING!! SO MAD, and I'm never mad.
- @Katybee_1313 It is very frustrating. I lost roughly 2 full months worth of tournaments. The idea that I'd need to play all dailies for 2 full months to get back to where I was yesterday is hard to swallow. I'm pretty much retiring from the game if this isn't fixed and I highly doubt anyone at EA will even read this topic.
Did this effect just the tourn rankings, or also the online matchups?
- @jack2k65 I think a 165 point loss for a 5-0-0 game answers that question.
@Mark_MiwurdzDid you previously have stats for season 1? My guess is that when you play the 'new season 1', it overwrites the wins from the old season 1. That is just my guess because that is exactly what happened to me in tournaments. EA needs to fix this immediately because it's completely thrown all of the rankings in the trash and rendered them useless. I just have doubts that they are listening anymore.
I will have done, but let's see if others report similar.
- @Mark_Miwurdz What bothers me most is that I lost 230 wins but if I hadn't played a single tournament yesterday or had any weeklies, my season 1 stats wouldn't have been wiped. I see guys on the ps5 leaderboard who quit recently and had no new scores that went into season 1 and because they had no new scores, they didn't overwrite their original season 1. Not playing the game would have saved me 230+ wins. This is the most backward logic I've ever seen in a video game. I thought the previous glitches in this game were pretty bad, but this by far takes the cake. EA really needs to get on this immediately and fix this issue.
Keep an eye on the all time and 'season 1' leaderboard going forward. You might find this issue happening to others as they register a score. It's been happening on the online stroke play leaderboard. Some got hit more than my 125 point loss.
@Mark_MiwurdzYeah I'm sure it will, but my point is that I would have been better off not playing a single tournament for this entire season. If I played 0 tournaments for 2 full months, I'd have had more wins and entries than I would if I play every single day. I wish I had known this would happen because I would have just not entered a single tournament for however long this new season lasts just to preserve my original season 1 data in my 'all-time' record. It will take hundreds of hours just to get back to where I was 1 day ago and that's a horrible feeling.
Also, this is likely to happen again when 'season 2' starts so I think quitting this game right now might be the best bet. If you keep playing tournaments every day, you're going to lose your entire original season every time a new season starts. Also, there is no way of knowing what days a new season will ever start since seasons haven't been following the 'seasonal tournaments' anymore for quite some time. When they added pro pass and had 70-90 days, the seasons were having more than 1 seasonal tournament. Basically, I played every day since launch and every time a new season starts, I'll essentially wipe my previous data. I highly doubt EA will care to address this either so playing this game competitively will be futile going forward. I'd rather make the decision to quit today I think than continue to play going forward. In 4-6 months, i might have less wins than I do today, even if I play every single tournament in that span. I thought I could make it to 3,000 but that was yesterday when I was at nearly 2,400. Now i'm sitting at 2,100 and wonder if I'll ever even get back to 2,400 with this new glitched format.

So the guy in 1st place yesterday is now 15th. Sis and Tasha went up 100 rank since yesterday by playing 2 dailies.

You're going to get soaked when you will pick up your kiddos from school Friday, and it's going to be raining all weekend and so cold, you will think it's end October. LMOL
And I am with you, I can't believe they reset all-time stats and season like that.
Maybe they want players to leave the game, it sure looks like it lately. A few weeks ago, I ended up something like 150th in the weekly pro tournament and got Winner. Last week, I finished 89th and didn't make the 20% cut. It means less than 450 players either didn't play or quit and didn't bother to leave a score in that 12mph East Lake tournament.
Today on the Random 4 Tour, they're throwing us Chambers Bay 15mph with tournaments course. Greens at Chambers Bay are already brutal, throwing 15mph wind there is enough for many players to give up and not play that, or to try numerous times after missing putts. One way or the other, it will frustrate many players.
Nobody is looking after this game, I'm sure winds are random all the time. There's one mode stuck with high wind every day and same for weekly. There are definitely a lot less users playing the game, no doubt. But then again, the game has been out for well over a year and there were 2 football game just released. And my guess, it's going to go down more after the soccer game in 2 or 3 weeks.
And one more thing why EA doesn't care anymore about this game, all 3 I was talking about above are EA and they want costumers to buy those games.
Michelle, I know you're right on everything but this new season is brutal. Rankings are all over the place, I ended up with only 3 games played while others had over a hundred.
And if they were not going to give us a new Pro Pass, they should have reset to the old system before Pro Pass where they were giving lots of coins for completing Daily and Weekly quests. Now they're giving us close to nothing when just about everybody has already completed Pro Pass. At least by giving coins for quests, players would be able to buy tickets to enter tournaments. Now they're not even giving tickets away.
So it looks like Season 12 started at the beginning of June. If there's Season 2, it should be at the beginning of December.
Rankings almost seems random these days for this new season 1. Saw a guy who hasn't played much for a long time ranked 4th in the top 10 one day, out of the top 100 the next. Today we have a guy ranked 1st with 254 game played, don't remember seeing him much anywhere.
The thinking is everyone's original season 1 stats are wiped once you set a score in the new season 1. It's the same for online stroke play.
It's kind of a waste of time to play tournaments for me for Season 1, I was up close to 150 Monday, got 2 daily and 2 weekly win on Tuesday morning for what I played and was back to 250. I'm up to 42 games played with 1 win and 1 world ranked yesterday and still at 223. Meanwhile like Katy, I see lots of guys I've never seen on leaderboards in the top 100, and they have 254 to 100 games played. I'm certainly not going to play tournaments for coins, I've got over 1 million and don't know what to do with them.
- @Wildesie This game is such a joke and the lack of respect from EA to fix issues has finally driven me to uninstall the game. I got my money's worth out of the game and then some but it's a sour way to end this game. Good luck to everyone else who continues to play.
@packattack04082, I didn't see your name on top of leaderboards lately, now I know why and it's totally understandable. This reset it a huge mess and scoring is really unfair. It's just looks like a bad bug taking over the leaderboard.
