@SiLLie_GhiLLie I get the fun playing with friends. I've experienced this with WGT. As noted above, you can play using Discord which I've not yet attempted.
As a side note: Will EA Sports generate updates based on a players prioritization or most requested improvements?

@RickinWaSt I appreciate the Discord post, but that is not what this is about, or a real fix. It's about the ability to play with friends in turn-based play. 2-4 players, playing together and seeing each other's shots.
I think they will prioritize updates based on the number of people requesting them. So hopefully this post will help highlight how many people want a turn-based mode 👍

Completely agree.
Also they should have the 2v2 online coop in the game.. in the xbox store it states it has this capability also but it's not in the game yet. Just tried the trial, I was going to buy it but due to lack of multiplayer, may as well wait u til they sort it out.
Absolutely agree...this is a ridiculous oversight and I'm seriously annoyed that I can't play this with mates. Appreciate that there's a discord workaround but a) that's absurd that people have to use another service to get into a match with their mates and b) it's still simultaneous play, which is pointless for kicking back and just having a laugh with your friends.
I'm definitely gonna ask for my money back if this isn't sorted really quick.

Yeah this is a serious buzzkill. My buddies I was planning on playing this with arent buying anymore. Atleast not until it’s fixed. I’m prob gonna grab a refund at this point. There’s zero reason to play this in its current state.

the game needs a lot of work with online modes. Online and playing with friends or matching up with someone for match play, skins, 2 v 2, best shot, turn based, whatever, it all needs adding. It’s why we play these games.
it’s a really good game that’s lacking options, but it’s those options that keep the player base.
hell they even added 3 point click for those who prefer it, or maybe disabled in some capacity where the only option is 3 point click and from what I understand, there is no competitive mode for them to enjoy. Not even head to head, let alone entering tournaments like sim
