You can play turned base play just as you do in really golf. Take turns.

oh skins. I forgot about that, that would be a fun one. I use to play that alot in the old games.

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Accept a private match invite from friend.
What happens when the bug occurs? You are unable to select golfer when joining a private match session with friends. Only the host can pick a real golfer. Everyone else who joins has to be their created player.
What do you expect to see? Be able to select a real golfer instead of playing with created player.

minor bug. I hope they ignore it and focus on more importantly having turn based game modes for online multiplayer as others have already mentioned.
