Order over EA or Steam

I wonder if I should buy the game over EA or Steam. Actually I play two games over Steam: Perfect Golf and F1 2019. I read that even if I want to play EA Sports PGA Tour over Steam I need the EA App. Does it matter if I order the game over Steam or EA?
