overswing/underswing

I don’t have confidence with the swing mechanics with this game. Problems of being short occurred after Update 3.0 (aka Lipout Update). I switched to 3-Click for Drive and Approaches and kept swing stick to putting. That temporarily solved the problem of always being short with underswing. By Update 4.5 (aka 60 FPS Update), I am virtually getting more shots short. My strategy ended up increasing club size. By Update 6.0, those shots are Aaron Judge Home Runs and original club is short. By then, I said No Mas.

The Tiger Woods PGA Tour iterations has the best swing mechanics and I miss that game. 2K23 is an example of a game that fixed swing tempo. After update 2.0 of 2K23, my shots constantly veered to right even though the swing timing is set to off; I can tell as the swing timing option is totally not working; I prematurely traded the game. Last week, I repurchased 2K23 and I noticed the swing timing off option is working and my shots are no longer veering to the right.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour iterations did not have issues with swing while 2K fixes issues with swing. It is really sad that the swing mechanics of current EA PGA Tour has gotten worse after each update. The swing timing is in Super Slo-Mo like the Bionic Woman is making the shot except there is no bionic sound effects to go along with it. And the shot ends up short where Steve Carrell as Maxwell Smart has to say “I missed it by that much”
