I don't understand the fascination about weather being implemented in the game. For myself this would be an accessory, an addon.
Where I live most people would cancel their tee time if it was going to be more than a light drizzle.
There are honestly alot more things to address before weather made my personal list of grievances.
In my world their are critical bugs, bugs, quality of life enhancements, and things to look at doing when we have time. And weather for me would fall in the last category along with a Halloween Theme Pack. Which was easy to create to make us feel that the game was still being fully supported.
Do you ever see pros cancel their tee time for a tournament when it rains? No. Rain affects ball physics in the air and on the ground, and it would be reasonable to have it in a game that purports to be realistic.
anyone see people in online play for pc? Cause i haven't seen anyone for the past day or two which is very strange cause it was thriving this past saturday.

@evanfrankel33One golf game our group plays, Perfect Golf (formally was Jack Nicklaus perfect Golf before it got sold) has an option to use Real Time Weather. We never used it, most people who played the game didn't either. PG does have an excellent lobby, in game chat, great real time mouse swing, gimmies that actually work, course designer and a ton of game modes. Game has been around for a few years now but apparently EA never looked at it to see what other games have.
EA had a real-time weather feature in the early 2010's Tiger Woods games, which was powered by The Weather Channel.
