People have given up on this game
Kind of a follow up to the other thread about "No one is playing this game". Though I only play this game now to see what the latest patch brings, though I do keep watch on this forum to get a pulse...
@PalomaMarvel24 I am interested in hearing about NHL 24 since I’ve played every one since…. The first one I think…. EA Hockey way back in around 1991. Be a Pro is what I’ve exclusively played since NHL 09 and played NHL 23 and thought it was just too easy compared to 22 which I thought was about right in terms of difficulty. How’s NHL 24 in terms of difficulty? I did play on 22 and 23 with full difficulty settings ramped up so I can’t be a bad player when I played 23 and struggled to find ways to make it more difficult without flat out putting the sliders in the CPU’s favour 😆

NHL 24 has a new controller settings called Total Control which is more difficult and challenging compared to NHL 22 and NHL 23. I had to fully put sliders in my favor and set options to easiest level to compete using Total Control. During launch, this was default settings and hybrid control was removed. After a large number of complaints, hybrid controls has been added back one month after launch. If you want a challenge and more difficulty, Total Control is available as an option.
