I suspect you were exaggerating a bit for effect but this part is respectfully rather wide of the mark I feel. It typically takes ballpark 150 hour plus to reach level 50 from comments from others I've seen, and I'm personally about 16k XP short of reaching this after 171 hours. You may have managed it in a week, but I'm confident most find this takes considerably longer 🙂 There is definitely an achievable point for everyone where XP will no longer have any value though.
You make a good point about there being more tournaments than it makes sense to enter even for someone who will generally be in the 'winner' category like yourself. I suppose you could choose to just enter enough daily tournaments to win the tickets you need to enter the weekly and seasonal tournaments but it does seem at best rather unusual for a competitive sports game to have tournaments that ultimately it's not in the player's interest to enter.
I always viewed the dailies as a way to bankroll your weekly/seasonal entries.
Which end up paying you 150,000-200,000 coins.
As long as you're not getting silly on the 2,000 and 4,000 daily and entering them multiple times then you end up profiting in the end.

Most people don’t finish in the winner or world ranked brackets
Therefore they don’t receive enough tickets and therefore waste coins to be able to get enough to enter the seasonal/weekly tournaments
The other point being you should if you want to enter every daily but the game due to the cost of dailies even if you win them all the time decentizes reward. I win most of the seasonal and weekly tournaments but even I can’t enter every single 1 as I’d end up losing coins
Can’t imagine how difficult it is for someone of a low skill level
