PGA Tour - request for private match options

This gets my vote too.

For the last few years I have been playing golf with my cousin (on PC) every weekend, using 'turn order' since Golf Club 2019, PGA 2k21 and PGA 2k23. A couple of months ago PGA 2k23 added platform cross play between console and PC's ....... we have not been able to play since that patch, we just can't connect and get into our own room, no matter who hosts it.

Meanwhile we play other games, saying " Thank God EA PGA Golf is coming out in 7 weeks, 6 weeks, 5 weeks ....... etc". We both buy it, then start playing, and initially confused then angry to find out that we are playing at the same time with NO turn order available in the settings. (Nevermind only one game mode)

This has really pissed us off. After all, all the animations are there when you play alongside a professional during quick play. There would appear to be no practical reason why this existing system cannot be adopted to Coop play.

(I won't go into the bloody awful mouse/keyboard control they've used, again PGA 2k23 can do it ok)

I really want to be able to play in a scramble with my friends! Or at least some sort of team based mode!

Yes I agree!!!! I want to be able to have turned based shots just like local player but online private matches. I want to watch my buddy mess up so I can laugh, and then they can laugh when I mess up! Please update this!

So it looks like there's been some sort of update to Private Match, instead of just Stroke Play you now have 5 versions of Stroke Play, Normal, Arcade, Pro, Tour & Simulation, still no turn based option which everyone's been asking for & still no other Play modes (like the modes you have in Quick Play) which everyone has also been asking for, nice to know we're all being heard 🙄🙄🙄

Attention EA. Not having an option play private matches against my friends online where we get to watch each others shots is beyond belief. Have your developers not spent one minute researching other recent golf games? This is literally the only reason many of us play these games at all. 4 of us purchased your game for the express purpose of playing each other in a private match on either stableford or strikeplay. Watching your mate mess up or hit the shot of the day is the whole point!!

How the hell can a next gen game not have this option? How??? It's like a game like gears of war deciding to skip on having a koth mode. Myself and my mates are disgusted and from what I can see so are most of your  customers. 

Yes only 1 mode to play with friends how is this still here after early access? please add the popular multiplayer modes for private matches! i  Really dont want to go back to 2k golf!

I can’t believe that’s actually true, brought the game for that exact reason so the wife and I could play against each other at home, spent an hour wasting my time trying to do that yesterday! It’s ridiculous, who can a game not have that option! Not happy!

This needs to be a priority for the dev team and patched asap.

This has been a topic of discussion since early release. With no release day update to open those modes it makes the game fairly useless in my opinion. Others may think differently
