PGA TOUR 2023 - Corrupt Error Code 10

And yet again, the game has crashed. Upon restart, Error Code 10. This results in a complete loss of Career Mode stats, as well as being unable to Manage Player, which is where Error Code 10 is shown...

    Thanks for the additional info, Since we are still seeing the error the saved data could have been corrupted due to multiple reasons. 

    We can try the following if you have not already.

Hello, @4c00c461aed36c78  . I see the splash screen with info on the game update and pug fixes, however, nothing has changed, still unplayable with Corrupt Error Code 10.

Edit: I can create a new character, however, that defeats the purpose. Months ago it was Error 23 and I lost all progress in Career Mode, but kept my character stats and progress. If I create a new character, I lose not only Career Mode progress, but ALL of my stats and progress, so 6 months of development for nothing.

    • The app is running in Steam
    • A new character plays fine
    • I can play a Quick Play match and that saves fine. However, when attempting to then play career mode, Error 23
    • The only way to continue with the same character and all the gear and points earned is to run the game, and while running delete the folder Documents\PGA Tour then click through and play Career Mode starting from scratch in Career Mode, but keeping all gear and points.

    Honestly the game is broken. "Auto Saving" does nothing if it cannot protect the data from a game crash or a power outage where the PC suddenly shuts off. This is the second time that I have had to start a completely new Career Mode due to corrupt data. What folder can I backup to then recover from Error 10 or Error 23 when they happen in the future, because, based on real-world experience, it will happen again. Is it the PGA Tour folder, or is there another location?

    Having the backup information would allow me and others to backup character data, play the game, and if there is a crash, copy that data back to it's location and pickup at that point, instead of losing months of progress.

    Note:
    Since the last update, "Spin" is broken, you cannot back spin, or forward spin...only left or right spin works <smh>

      @EA_Illium , hello...anything for me. I'm back to playing, as I've resolved the Error 10, and Error 23 problems by deleting the "PGA Tour" folder from "My Documents" while the game was running, exiting the game, then restarting the game. However, all Career progress is lost. So, ....still looking for an answer on what folder can I backup and restore when (not if) this happens again. Is it the same PGA Tour folder in My Docs, or is there another location?
