PGA tour 2023 cant get code to work

I bought a PGA tour code off ea store on Amazon for steam. I then went on steam and redeemed code and downloaded game. Now when I go to steam and open game it launchs ea app and has error saying it may have been downloaded by different device. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
