PGA Tour Career mode not progressing

This is probably a common issue based off a quick search, but I just bought the game and have tried playing career mode. It’ll let me finish a round but than it wants me to start all over (player experience/skills/etc… continue to progress though). I’ve tried resetting the system, clearing the cache, but still have the same problem. Is there a fix? Thanks in advance
