PGA Tour makes my PC internet connection cut out
The game makes my PC internet connection cut out. I get to play one full hole and half way playing through the second hole I lose connection. And its not just from the servers, its the actual PC ethernet connection is broken. I've tried it with Wi-Fi also. I have never had this with any other game. My internet works on other devices when this is happening, so the internet to my house isn't cut. Just to the PC. Every time I've played the game it has happened. I've tried for 3 or 4 nights now and its the same each time. I've never had any internet issues in this house and I've been here for seven years with the same provider and had zero issues. I've restarted the router. Tried using a VPN. Neither worked. Haven't tried much else. Any ideas?
I am playing on and AMD Ryzen PC in the UK.
Hey @gellnumbernine
when you have a moment give the following a try:
- Run the System File Checker tool, then Check for Windows and GPU updates
- Repair the game files in the EA app. Go to the Library and find your game. Click the Manage icon, then click Repair.
- Clear EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
- Troubleshoot your connection to EA games
- Check if any background applications are stopping the EA app or your game.
- Perform a clean boot of your PC to disable background tasks that may be interfering with your game.
Thanks!
