When playing quick play with my friend using 2 controllers for PS5, the game randomly switches the player for each controller. Therefore, we have to swap controllers often so we can play with the golfer we selected. I'm not sure why it's happening because it is really random when the golfers/controllers are swapped. I used my account and a guest account (through the ps5 login) to try to see if that worked and it still is happening.

I had the same issue on Xbox Series X. There needs to be a way to lock/assign controllers to p1, p2, etc. you should not have to only use one controller to play local play without issues
