PGA tour wont start

From the EA app

- Click the run button for PGA tour 

- EA app minimizes or closes

- brief black windowed box

- that windowed box closes (can't see anything at all on it, just black screen in window)

- Then EA app either opens or comes back from minimize ( I can tell which )

Tried all the basics and the avatar thing etc.. still no luck getting to anything.

I can see the PGA tour icon in Task Manager for a second then it closes. Has anyonehad this and solved it?

    Thanks for getting back to me. Try creating a new Windows user account with admin rights. Then, try launching the game again.

    Hi there, @eddiek1966 

    Try running PGA and the EA app as an administrator. You should be able to right click on the icon and choose this option. Let me know what happens. Thanks!

    Yes, I ran them both as Administrator, still quick black box and back to EA app.

    That got it. THANKS! Dunno why, but creating a new user account as ADMIN and then setting the game and EA app to run as ADMIN fixed it. Got in and played a hole! of course now I am experiencing all the bugs everyone else is.... controller being jumpy, menus being laggy, framerate stufff.. sigh.

    Same issue so I followed the requirements on this threat but nothing is working for me.

    I really can't play this game at all !

    I am trying to play PGA Tour on my PS5 - so signing in as admin & playing as Admin ...

    This "fix" doesn't work.

    I've tried creating a new account and nothing works. I cannot play this incredible game (had all the previous versions, BTW).

    I cannot believe this! I can't play offline since my account isn't verified. No account can be verified. I've tried old and new email addresses.

    What now - just keep playing 2K23?

    And check back in a few months, or whenever you guys get this issue resolved???
