I agree. Hate doing the challenges as a pro player because there swings tempos and attributes are so different than mine. I am used to my slow swing tempo and it's hard getting the timing playing as someone like Scheffler whose swing tempo is much quicker that mine. Add the dispersion c%^& to their inaccuracies and half the challenges are unattainable.
Another thing that bothers me about the challenges is when you are supposed to duplicate things from a specific tournament and you are playing a completely different course than the one the tournament is actually played on. I am sure the Shriner's tournament is not played at Wolf Creek since the course doesn't exist in the real world (I wish it didn't exist in this game either but that is a story for a different thread).

Actually I think Wolf Creek is an actual course.
But I agree with pretty much everything else you posted.

The Shriner’s Open is actually played at TPC Summerlin. EA should have included TPC Summerlin for accuracy on real PGA Tournaments. 2K21 and 2K23 actually have this course.
Wolf Creek unfortunately is a real course. However no real PGA Tour Tournaments are played there. Wolf Creek is a tourist attraction and is like a Disneyland for Golfers. In the current game, the ball physics resembles the mic Cardi B threw; that is why I call this course Cardi Creek. Maybe one day, a fictional PGA Tour Tournament called Cardi B Invitational Open Championship would be held at Wolf Creek in the next iteration.
If it is a challenge playing Wolf Creek with my own golfer, it would be a total nightmare playing as a pro without power like Danielle Kang. She would be miles short at hole 3 (aka the Maverick 3) as well as the remaining 17 holes.

I was amazed when I first found out but Wolf Creek is indeed a real course:
And given it is real I'll say I think it's an excellent course to have had included in the game for variety.

@Ultrasonic_77I agree I like this and Evian... for the variety. A lot of the courses feel like standard fair without much character to them.
I always hoped that at one point EA, would round out all the courses for a complete PGA schedule. But I never expected this to be done on opening day. I thought they did a pretty good job with what was released... except I didn't understand the choice of the 2 fantasy courses or the par 3 course. Especially when it was reported it took as long to create as a regular 18 hole course as it did the par 3 course. I would rather have another 18 hole PGA stop.
But I do feel the game doesn't seem to play very realistic. Between the terrible swing mechanics, awful ball and cup physics this is a mediocre game.We play without the grids and my playing partners complain all the time about being unable to see the breaks on the greens (I would have to agree for the most part). I like the feel and speed of the swing itself... but that's about it. After the ball comes off the club face I spend a lot of the time as a spectator, since I never feel in full control of my shots.
I mean the game looks like golf... it just doesn't play like it in my opinion. I have never played links courses in England... but do they really roll forever like how they are represented in this game?
