    Hi Everyone,

I wanted to pop in really quick to provide some information on anyone who may be breaking our rules.

We are unable to assist with reports of players who may be breaking our fair play rules here on Answers HQ. Please see our Forum Rules & Guidelines.

If you do come across someone else who may be breaking our terms of service be sure to check out our EA Help article on how to report them to the correct team!

Report players for cheating, abuse, and harassment

Please do not report or share information on another account you suspect of cheating here, as we will lock this thread.

    Thanks for reporting!

Ha yeah, the famous Random 3 holes glitch in TW14, just about everybody in the top 100 was using that. 😃

Omega_Souji originally joined earlier in the day.

Perhaps to keep a low profile, he just changed the time he joined later, then later, and so on.

In other words, I don't think it is an "it's only possible if it's late" act, as someone wrote.

I am surprised that glitching used to be the norm.

It means that player morale was pretty bad back then.

Now it seems there are only one or two players who cheat.

The other day, a daily tournament in which more than 100 players were supposed to win at the same time was ruined by the usual cheats of "Omega_Souji".

Is those conditions what this EA PGA TOUR should be like?

I am surprised at EA's attitude of not moving at all.

The tiebreaker is not changed, but the normal value is used, and only the bad score is ranked first.

The tiebreaker is also ranked No. 1 when the tiebreaker value is abnormal.
    However, the score is bad.

So with the glitch you mention, both of those things are possible?

I joined since Season 11, so I don't know anything about what happened before that.

Top 10% are "winners", thanks for the consolation.

But the top 10% are 'winners' is a 'designation' to classify rewards.

    We know that.

I also know that only the first place is a real Winner.

So I'm playing for first place.

There is no difference that Omega_Souji is cheating, so something needs to be done about it.

I don't expect any action to be taken, though, with EA probably not going to update any more.

    It's a shame.

He doesn't belong in the Random 4 holes, but his scores keep showing there. In the first one, it looks like he played the 6 holes tournament and got 2 bogeys to have a Tiebreaker 4.  Why he ended up on top with a tiebreaker 4 like all all the others with a score of +1 makes no sense. In the second and third games, he played 18 holes and had 2 bogeys for Tiebreaker 16.

Having said that, I understand your frustration. I was fortunate to have the top score not long ago, which is very rare for me. Just to wake up the next morning in 2nd place because of him.

To be designated 'winner' as you call, it's a lot more than just rewards. You finish 1st or 89th, if you're deemed a winner, EA will rank you as such no matter what. And if you don't play an event and somebody else does, it will affect both of your ranking too. I didn't play 'Arcade' seasonal event this time around, I just played Pro. Dad ended up ranked higher than me this morning by playing both events. It didn't matter he just got an Elite Ranking, he got rewarded and ranking points to play the event.

I see you on top of the leaderboard most of the time in Random 4. For what you played, EA is ranking you 257th, Souji 801. That's where you are the winner over him.

At the end of the day, we're all jabronis for @packattack04082 , Tee-wan, Gazak and other top players.

I played in the Tiger woods days. Played with a guy from Alaska who won a Buick. The online play was much better than today, there was a clubhouse chatroom so you could find players.

  • My aim is to be number one, not number one in the rankings, but number one in the daily tournaments.

Everyone plays in their own way and I am not interested in rankings.
If I can't be first at all in the daily tournaments, rather than worrying about rankings, then there is no point for me.
In actual golf, even in the Masters Tournament, I enjoy watching the competition for the winners of that event more than "the rankings".
People who don't get first place in daily tournaments most of the time may not understand this.

I don't believe I can be one of the top few in the rankings. It's a different dimension.
I rarely see cheating players these days, they're not playing properly and improving, so maybe they're bored.

The game has been broken for months, there's no more ranking for all players still playing the game, everybody is 0.  The only ranked players are those who have stopped playing the game before Apr 1.  That's why I, and many others, have stopped playing the game.  What's the point of winning a tournament if there's no ranking, and only getting a few coins when I already have almost 2 millions?  I'm sure many feel like you, they still play everyday, enter just about every tournaments, all 4 dailies, weekly and seasonal.  I now played maybe once or twice a week at the most.
