Hi Barry,
I followed the link you provided to request a refund but was unable to proceed as I was given the message:
"You don't have any games that qualify for a refund right now." (see attached screenshot)
Given that I can't even make it by the player creation screen properly with my son, nor do I want my son running the risk of creating his own player and running into a "micro form" of indoctrination of gender ideology, what would you suggest? You think EA would make a refund exception given I've put no more than 5 minutes into the game (and haven't even swung a club)?
Alternatively, if EA can provide my wife and I (and arguably other parents) with an child friendly explanation of the "they/them" pronoun, I would perhaps reconsider my request. We used to get manuals with games that would explain such things but that is unfortunately no longer the case. I believe the game is rated E for everyone so clearly someone at EA must feel comfortable explaining this option to a 7 year old right?
