Could not disagree more, love the new lip outs don't change a thing!!
The lip outs are clearly broken despite it being a new toy for you or not. You’re probably one of these tour or sim elite neck-beards crying to make it harder for everyone anyway and ruining the game for others in the process. Am I wrong?
I’ve been playing Tiger since 2006, I’m an expert on this topic. Its’s not a matter of taste, but of functionality.
Additionally, the ball logic on putting has been broken on this update. I bet it has something to do with the new code for lip outs.
EA, please revert whatever you did. Putting simply is not as it was before the 3.0 update.
I think it would be so much more helpful if you could elaborate on what is actually wrong rather than just saying it's broken. How are the lip outs broken? How is the putting broken? Otherwise your comments could just be construed as just disliking the mechanics.
The putting update is spot on; putting was way to easy before as it barely took into account speed as you could plow the ball and it would get vaccumed into the hole...now speed counts

Describe your issue, I think the new mechanic is closer to real life then before where I made 99% of my putts within 10-15 feet.
I have noticed a few times where I felt I was screwed over when I believed it should have dropped but for the most part I welcome the change as lip-outs and burned edges are very common IRL.@SneaklerIt is not common AT ALL for a ball barely rolling to roll right through the center of the cup. I agree the cup was very receptive, but you don't come in after everyone has learned the game building up for weeks and COMPLETELY change the cup physics. Also, ball lips backwards in regards to physics. It's broken. Next are they gonna change the swing mechanics, wind effects, elevation, lies, percentages?
The putting is great. I had putts lip out, but that was due to hitting the putt too hard. I also had putts do a 360 and go in.
The putting update is spot and close the real golf.
