I think it would be so much more helpful if you could elaborate on what is actually wrong rather than just saying it's broken. How are the lip outs broken? How is the putting broken? Otherwise your comments could just be construed as just disliking the mechanics.
The putting update is spot on; putting was way to easy before as it barely took into account speed as you could plow the ball and it would get vaccumed into the hole...now speed counts
I agree with some others, putting is spot on now. No more brute forcing a putt to the back of the cup to have it just go in. Now it takes the skill to make putts. Love the new lip outs, there have been some putts I never should have made the past, now when they happen, the lip out is realistic. Had some 360 lip-ins, just a lot more exciting now.

Close to 10 lip outs yesterday and a guy we play with had like 10 or so in the 2 rounds he played. Every few minutes he’s like, oh another lip out.
Also, again…a few perfectly set up putts just blowing by at +0.1 over-swing and a few perfect/perfects. I’m telling you, it’s a variable miss-hit factor added to the putting code.
I would hope a dev could comment on exactly what was tweaked.

- @JGWentworths Easy with the name calling; speed was not a major factor before patch as explained in more than one post here as you could easily plow through breaks...now, you can really get penalized if you take that approach. Of course speed was in play as to either get to the hole uphill or blowing it past on a downhill, but that obviously was not my point.
This has to be up there with the strangest 1 I’ve seen go over the hole so far
