Yeah, what happens in that video's clearly nonsense! How often are people seeing this sort of thing? I've not seen anything like this across something like 150 holes played since the update I'd guess. I'm asking in case there's something that makes it more likely that's worth trying to pin down to help get this fixed, or make the game more playable till it does.
For info. I play on PS5 but I know @agentputt does too so it's not that.

Guess I'll see this at some point but in case it makes a difference I'll say I have zero skill points in putting. Not seen your running straight over the hole thing yet either btw.
I doubt this is game mode dependent but I mostly play tournaments and online.

Happened to me 3 times in my first online game that very night. Went offline to test things and it happens very frequently right through the middle and nowhere near hitting the ball too hard. I have 4-5 examples recorded on my PS5. Came here to see what's up and found everyone saying "not broken", "learn how to putt", or "spot on with the lipouts". Game deleted. I'll try back in 6 months maybe. IT IS BROKEN. PERIOD.
I agree the cup was a bit too receptive, but now it's comedy.
Saran wrapped. The ball rolled on top of the hole. Stopped. Left for a bogey tap in. The ball looks like it is still over the hole.
