Close to 10 lip outs yesterday and a guy we play with had like 10 or so in the 2 rounds he played. Every few minutes he’s like, oh another lip out.
Also, again…a few perfectly set up putts just blowing by at +0.1 over-swing and a few perfect/perfects. I’m telling you, it’s a variable miss-hit factor added to the putting code.
I would hope a dev could comment on exactly what was tweaked.
@JGWentworthsI mean overswing % doesn't necessarily mean you've set the marker in the correct spot tbh. Nor does perfect/perfect. That only comes into it if you have perfectly set the power (marker). If it's blowing by the hole, that suggests you've set the marker too far and if that pace is what you always hit, if the ball is hitting the edge of the cup, it's going to lip out rather than lip in.

My placement isn’t the issue. I know what Im doing. The only thing that’s stopping me from dropping 10/10 putts is the under/over swing mechanic.
