Exactly. When two talented players are hitting every birdy + eagle and you miss a putt to a borked mechanic and end up losing it sucks because the code it ripping a win from you.
@JGWentworths See here is my problem. I have said many times that the ball basically rolling over the cup is the only issue with this update, the other edge of cup based mechanics are a welcomed addition for me personally.
So when someone is saying ridiculous stuff like "artificial difficulty" and that they added stuff "willy-nilly" to the game they just sound stupid.
You think they intended for this specific example we are talking about? I don't believe so and it needs to be fixed. Nobody wants to lose over some BS.
I think the new additions are great except left 1/3 and right 1/3 putts just rolling over the cup and obviously dead on putts as well. For clarity a left 1/3 or right 1/3 is not a rim putt. These should drop if hit with decent pace as well...currently some of these are just rolling over the cup and it looks odd.
