@RodSirloin I agree that the putting has improved since update 4.0. Another improvement is the sideways putting occurrences are rare. After Update 3.0, my golfer is making too many sideways putts like she is playing billiards. I am pleased that update 4.0 fixed that one. The only place that it still occurs is at the 17th hole of TPC Scottsdale. In addition, making longer putts have improved.

@PalomaMarvel24 It’s good to hear reasonable and honest feedback…thank you for that. Also, being a dev is a loveless job so it’s extremely important to let them know when they did a good job.
There are some courses where putting a is still hell, like some of these super curved 4 footers that you miss more than you make, but at least they’re willing and ready to make changes we want to see.
Which platform are you playing on?

- PalomaMarvel243 years agoSeasoned Ace@RodSirloin You have mentioned the super curved 4 footers. I realized ball specs play a big role in putting. I miss those super curve without ball specs or some good ones with low power. I got Tony Finau’s ball spec and that changed things. I was able to hit about 60% of those super curved 4 footers in some courses like Augusta. However, it is still hard to make them in Oak Hill. I might need Dustin Johnson’s ball spec for that course since the power rating is high.

@PalomaMarvel24The ball specs and putting attribute have zero effect on your ability to putt
The putting attribute simply make it easier to hit it straight - 3 years ago@PalomaMarvel24 Thanks for the reply, but as @agentputt said, specs and skill points have no impact on actual putting besides being able to hit a putt off the green.
Vast majority of the time the green is well flat and they give you a curved putt preview to the side of the cup, they need to fix that.- 3 years ago

But I appreciate that if what everyone is saying is true. I like that it is more of a guide than the actual line.
Though I will admit I have seen it in the daily arcade tournaments, and the short putt paths look ridiculous. That they should fix...
