I've only had one instance in 275 hrs of gameplay where the ball lipped out strangely with its animation.
My only issue now really is the clipping/glitching animation where the ball is going through the putter head at address. Happens at address too with irons every so often
I think I need to start getting some clips together again for the horrendous state the putting is in
- @agentputt putting is far worse now, ive seen putts head towards the hole then all off a sudden break the opposite way and miss, its like a putt boss out there saying nope, you arent making this, and its often i see this, at least 3-4 times a round
Let's face it... 2K/HBS has nailed the Putting Model & Physics.
EA's approach totally sucks! It's really stupid. Bring the putter back the same amount, regardless if it's 8' or 80'

- @ragingsaint Yep. Same here. Miss 2-3 putts per 18 holes, that I was making before. That can be the difference between winning a tournament and losing it if everyone is stacked up right close to each other on the leaderboard. I put the AI up as soon as I finished the Korn Ferry Tour b/c I figured the guys on the PGA tour should be better and raising it would simulate that. Well due to crappy putting now, I may have to lower it to win one of these damn tournaments. lol
Because I’ve been getting so many lockups when I pull my club back I moved back to 30fps and no change so it’s not the fps itself but something happened in this patch that locks my club at the zenith of my backswing. It’ll just lock and next thing you know the club is swinging and it never turns out well. Never had this issue even once before the 4.5 patch. I’m losing close matches because of it.
I highly encourage people to start doing practice swings on putts and look at your overswing %.
I know I’m sounding like a broken record here, but the values are bugged. Barely over the meter, on a lot of putts, on several courses jump to +2.2% and over when it’s barely over the line.
