@-Roasted513-What is a quick putt? Is that some kind of auto putt for tap-ins? When I use the recommended distance on Arcade/Pro, I never have a ball roll over the hole. I feel like you really have to hit the ball super hard to go over the hole. I've played over 1,000 hours and only had it happen maybe twice ever.
@packattack04082 a "quick putt" is hitting the y button on Xbox controller and id assume triangle on PlayStation... like when you speed up your shot, just tap that button

so yet again, (-EA-) im losing tickets because you cant make a simple fix to this game, when i hit a putt and its tracking to the hole, then somehow goes off into lala land... theres an issue.
fix this game, whats wrong with you!?

If you're quick-tapping the Y button after putting the ball, who's to say that a break didn't move the ball away from the hole? And if you're "quick-putting", how do you know the ball rolls over the hole at all, since it skips to the end of the shot altogether?
I'd simply suggest maybe not "quick-putting" and see what happens. I think putting has been much-improved following the patch a few updates ago that re-did cup physics. My only issues with putting now are the lousy greens at Torrey, Evian, and Wolf Creek.

Almost always putts I've hit hard to try counter the unpredictable break. It looks like the ball goes too fast, hits the far side of the cup, and the forward momentum carries it over.
