@-Roasted513- I have to say, I have never seen anything like this happen when playing.
If you're quick-tapping the Y button after putting the ball, who's to say that a break didn't move the ball away from the hole? And if you're "quick-putting", how do you know the ball rolls over the hole at all, since it skips to the end of the shot altogether?
I'd simply suggest maybe not "quick-putting" and see what happens. I think putting has been much-improved following the patch a few updates ago that re-did cup physics. My only issues with putting now are the lousy greens at Torrey, Evian, and Wolf Creek.

Yeah, I've only ever had putts roll over on those greens. Almost always putts I've hit hard to try counter the unpredictable break. It looks like the ball goes too fast, hits the far side of the cup, and the forward momentum carries it over.
