@Weyland4kknow the line that shows on the putts...? mine rarely goes over that, most of the time just short of that, so im not hitting the ball "too hard"
Of course I do and I’m saying it’s something you’re doing. If I do miss a putt which is pretty rare, it’s burning the edge. I’ve had maybe 3 lip outs in the last 200 putts. I can’t remember when I had a rollover, not being rude, just saying I for real can’t remember.
If your ball is rolling over, it’s being hit too hard or there is something you’re doing differently than I am. It’s not the game because if it was, I would share your problem and I don’t. Don’t be so quick to dismiss operator error either, you’ll never get over this that way.
If your putt is changing direction, your tempo is off. I get that when I don’t have my tempo on the money.
I have so many different types of putts for all the different lines.
E.G. On a big curve I’ll drop the chevron, line it up in the center, back to distance, take 2 off, tap inside 2x, and hit over the line 0.3 - 1.3 depending on the scenario.
On certain short rainbows I might drop the chevron down, line the chevron on the inside line as opposed to the middle of the putt line, take one off and pull back right on the line with maybe a slight underswing.
Putts that are over 40, I’ll drop the chevron down, center it, go back to the distance, tap left or right once depending on certain factors, hit over or on the line depending on the green, and I hit 80% of them, but your tempo has to be perfect. I hit 80 footers a lot that are rainbows.
You can’t just putt one way and expect it to work every single time.
How do you line up your putt and what is your front/back swing numbers?
