Questions to players who might cheat?
simple question... why do you CHEAT in an online game and ruin the fun of other players?!?

@SlimDown57 I'm not certain, but I think that as no actual fingers are being pointed, and nobody is named, the mods aren't overly strict. I may be wrong though...

I agree with you, you kind of have to say this is not really on the perpetrators, but rather those that have allowed them to do it.
Is it really cheating if the game is allowing you to do it? It may not be in the spirit of how the game was created... but it is on the developer to not allow these gaps in the software.
At most it just isn't very sportsman like. If you need to cheat it says more about you than anything else. Not that I am saying anyone is cheating
if there are cheaters out there the only reason i can see is just to annoy people after all if they post a great score through cheating well actually it's not a great score is it

how do people cheat on a golf game? I am on console so maybe is this more for PC players?
But it's incredible how good people are when I see the daily/weekly tourney scores. People shooting into the minus 20s, wow. I can maybe do that offline with the game on Easy mode but on one of the tourney's on Pro or Sim , no way.

@-Roasted513- Why cheaters/hackers do the things they do especially in online games entirely depends on their motivation or reason for doing them in the first place.
It's on a spectrum of sorts from testing their cheats in order to sell them to potential customers to people who use the cheats in order to gain an advantage over others.
It is very difficult to precisely know the true reason or motivations for people who cheat/hack since it's literally on a spectrum.
Reply if you think this answers your question or not since trying to find a simple answer for cheating will leave you scratching your head or having a headache of some kind. Just saying.
And also I don't cheat so no accusations.
I'm assuming we aren't talking about me or you would have just asked me. Cheaters are akin to trolls. They thrive in the grief they create. Don't let them know you care and they will become bored and quit eventually.
