I've no idea if a few may do as you suggest but it would be monumentally desperate if anyone was! Even if they are it's going to end up giving me more wins so I'm not going to complain too much.
I don't think you get the win if your only opponent leaves. I just had someone leave on the 8th hole because they knew they were going to lose. They're "ranked" in the top 30 global leaderboard. They waited until I finished my long lag put for the par 5 8th at Augusta, when it ended up close and they would have to beat me by 3 strokes on 9 after I made the birdie putt, he quit. So frustrating. [Edited]. Should be an auotmatic loss.
