Your frustration is valid. This game would be more enjoyable for more people if it had detailed difficulty sliders like MLB The Show or NBA 2K. The limited difficulty options they provided obviously don't satisfy everyone, and sliders would help in that regard. For example, I would prefer to set how much, if any, randomness I want in the results of my swings.
I'm sure that competitive online difficulty is always hard to balance, but that's a separate issue that shouldn't impact single player or casual multiplayer. The difficulty for single player or casual multiplayer should be adjustable to a fine level of detail by the user(s).
There should no randomness in a game of skill on any game mode, that's s a given for me.
I have a fully maxed out player and everything I want maxed out in the stats of the clubs, but still get random outcomes, doesn't matter that they are small random outcomes THEY ARE RANDOM. Who ever thought it was a good idea to have random outcomes should be shown the door.
this random BS needs to go. i play -relaxed- when im playing career mode or any single player mode, but when i play tournaments, i dont goof off. so EA you need to rid of this random stuff because it costs people time and effort to enter into the tournaments and the costs it takes to get in so you, (EA) ruin it by making the game not fun
i really only play this game now for the daily/weekly tournaments
I feel bad for people on Sim or Tour who think they miss those important shots just because they mis-hit the ball or miscalculate something.
nope… the game decided, nope. It’s unfortunately just that simple.
This is terribly frustrating. Even if I shoot around it the game starts giving me insane putt reads or make a level put I added an inch of distance to and over hit by 1.0% mysterious stop at the edge of the cup. Even the auto tap-in misses lol
