Any positive posts to read?
I’ve been playing this game for a little over 2 months now, at 1st I never really liked the game but now, I think it’s very good and fun to play, I levelled up my golfer in that time and it has reall...

@BhamelI am really enjoying tis game and I also am fed up with people forever complaining about the same things and trying to promote the other golf game. I had hoped that members in this forum would be giving advice and tips about the game, helping others with tips etc, etc
Great to hear Allan. I’ve been playing the other game for close to 3 years now, 2k21 that is, I did enjoy the game and thought I would give 2k23 a go, it only took a few hours in and a TON of ads later (not to mention the same game) but with ads galore that it wasn’t for me. When I downloaded this game I never really cared for it but I stuck with it and I haven’t played my 2k21 since. This game makes you think WAY more about your upcoming shot (much more like real golf) and with all the shot types it’s much much better. I don’t think these complainers realize that if this game turns out to be a bust that they will (and should) stop making golf games period, then we have one golf game with no real competition and that usually never turns out well. Happy swinging Allan and Merry Christmas.

@BhamelThanks, had a great xmas, started playing EA golf again in the new year and I am really enjoying it, using different golf bags with each bag carrying different specs/balls/wedges and testing them out on all the courses, I am also testing out each shot type with the different specs and have slightly rejigged my golfers experience points to more closely enhance my weak spots. I find there is so much to learn with this game. I too enjoyed 2k23 golf for a while, but only played with a friend online, and I loved the course creator, but the game was exasperating
Your welcome. I’m currently in the U S and don’t hame my laptop here so I haven’t played in about 3 weeks, I’m definitely missing the game, gonna be about 2/3 more weeks. I’m thinking of grabbing a set of hybrids to play around with when I get back (the only clubs I haven’t upgraded yet) so that will keep me busy for a while. I did enjoy my 3 years playing 2k21 but I like this game even more, something about golf ⛳️ games that I really enjoy playing. Have fun out there and Happy New Year Allan.

Define exasperating.
Do you mean sort of like golf in real life?

@ELF014no not like golf in real life, more like poor ball physics, poor swing mechanics, lack of consistency in swing tempo, swing plane not relating to type of shot, lack of flexibility to create unique shots, 2k23 has lost a lot since HB studios are no longer involved.
I would have to respectfully disagree. I play on LEGENDARY settings with everything but the wind direction disabled. My screen has nothing but the hole information and scorecard on it.
The ball physics may not be perfect, but overall plays much better than EA (it isn't close). The swing mechanics are repeatable so I have no issues with how it was implemented... and I curse a lot about the swing tempo but I am aware it is me and not the game, because under MASTER settings I have no issues. There is no issue with the swing plane it works as designed.
And you can manipulate different shot types but they didn't make it easy, it is easier to setup to hit every shot in this game with a fullswing. Which is my biggest gripe about the changes they made in 2K21 moving forward... while some content providers wanted a faster swing... I wanted it left alone. The new swing speed took away hitting partial shots... what should have done was removed the allowance for perfect timing.
I haven't played EA since the last patch... and I cannot say I miss the game. The game physics are all over the place, it lacks any sort of challenge and there bugs that annoy me.
Games have bugs... but seldom are they an annoyance.
