Re: Constant 'password reset' loop PS5

Hey @c703e3d561b7e675,

If you're in a constant password reset loop, then it's a sign that your PlayStation account is linked to an old or disabled EA account. Try logging in here with your EA account details to see if it's linked:

https://myaccount.ea.com/cp-ui/connectaccounts/index

If you don't see it there and aren't sure where it might be linked, then I recommend reaching out to our live support team so they can help you find the right EA account and get you back into your games:

  • The my account 'connections' says 'no connected accounts' - I'm guessing any old ones would show there - but they're not

  • Also - the page you linked me to ends up being just a list of Twitter pages with problems - not a person to talk to. What on Earth is going on with this company

    @c703e3d561b7e675,

    If you don't see anything connected, then your PlayStation isn't linked here.

    I don't understand what you mean about it being a list of Twitter pages with problems, by the way. Are you talking about the Contact Us link? It should send you to our support site where you can pick your product and problem category to get some help; it does for me, at least. If you're having issues, could you share a screenshot of what you see?
  • If it isn't showing under the connections, how do I link it. It should be a simple case of entering my email and password but the game doesn't allow me to do that.

    Can you send me a link so I can talk to someone to actually sort it out, not a link to a 'self-help' page which was the last one you sent.

    @c703e3d561b7e675,

    Again, your PlayStation account is already linked to an EA account. I'll share the support link again

    This is the link you need to contact our live support. Just pick your product, platform, and issue category, and you should get the option to contact an advisor. Try "Manage my account" -> "Account linking", that gives me the option to start a chat.

    Do what they said ^^^ you can live chat and they helped me. Wound up being that I must have deleted my EA account connected to an email and the option I went with was for them to delete my EA account in general. They were able to then connect an account to whatever email I wanted and then I could start the game and go through the process of linking the account. No more password loop. Only downside is you lose all progress of previous games but I havent played many EA sports games lately.
