EA golf too arcady
Almost no skill involved in this game. Rough and bunkers have no penalty. Ball still goes distance you aim no loss of yardage no math involved. Example: if i am in the rough and aim 150 yards. My bal...
The OP is not wrong... the game is too easy and luck (the RNG) plays too large a role in the outcome on longer shots.
The short game is ridiculously easy, once you have unlocked a flop and pick shot. The same with putting as you can dial in exact distances, once you master slope and direction you can lag inside 3 feet everytime if are inside 50 feet. And probably inside 6 feet inside 75 feet.
The doesn't provide enough options to set difficulty for the game. And it also doesn't let you lockdown gameplay and user settings in a multiplayer environment.
While the career mode was pretty well thought out, it lacks a challenge... because the game is too easy to play.
Putting without a grid is a bit gimmicky in my opinion because how do you really expect to display a 3D environment on a 2D screen. Having this game compatible on PS VR might resolve the issue.
I have owned this game since day one and have never shot over par. Always played on the most difficult settings with green grids enabled.
Have played 3 or so rounds with the grids off but did not enjoy the experience and even then shot -5 each time.
The game looks good and has some strong elements too it, but it feels incomplete and is much too easy.
The OP is right, definitely simcade
A lot of my steam friends that played 2K (pro settings) and there are 2 more difficulty settings than that on there. For years they barely could average -10. Then came here and within a week they are averaging -15. Tour settings on here would be considered master level on there lol. If they played that level there scores would be like -3 hehe
