EA golf too arcady
Almost no skill involved in this game. Rough and bunkers have no penalty. Ball still goes distance you aim no loss of yardage no math involved. Example: if i am in the rough and aim 150 yards. My bal...
I'll admit I only purchased PGA Tour 2K21, so can't comment on the latest version. I avoided it as I like to have an actual CPU player to play against if I'm not playing online, not ball trails. It's a fun game of golf though and the graphics have been last genish to ok, but passable. Having played both now I tend to agree with most of the popular YouTubers who cover golf games. Maybe it's random dispersion or something else, but EA seems to require more thinking in taking a shot. What golf shot type to use etc etc. The putting is better in 2K by far and if you want to join a society, club, clan or whatever you want to call it, 2K is way better setup there. I think EA will get there. It's the first version in EA getting back into the golf game so I think fixes and additions to make online play more stable are coming in either this version or maybe next year's version. The best feature in EA's new game is that the dev team is actively looking at feedback and actually implementing them. That's pretty rare. They've gone a bit silent of late, but I'm guessing that's due to really having their focus on fixing game stability, and optimization as some are still having troubles, looking at which feeback they can add and implement and test them before adding them.
They both approach golf in different ways, but I only go back to 2K to play online and download the MANY courses by users you can find.
Well you talk about them fixing bugs... If they ever add team play that should be a whole new set of bugs to deal with!
