BOTH of these games have SERIOUS issues. I played 2k23 and found it cartoonish and not as realistic as this game. EA on the other hand, has good looks and realistic feel, except for putting. I would also say that in the EA game, you can not count on anything being consistent. I can’t speak for 2k23, but for the most part, EA devs seem to ignore what owners of their product want. Update 9 didn’t seem to come with glitches, but every update before it seemed to be put out live before it was tested. I don’t know what would account for the problems otherwise.From shot to shot. If you feel like you know what the club is going to do every time you pick it up, you’d be sadly mistaken. Frankly, I wouldn’t recommend either of these games to anyone.

    @REDUNZL As someone that used to play quite a lot of golf I totally agree about the consistency of a shot, and would never expect the same result everytime apart from putting.

    I purchased EA around 3-4 months ago, and the only things that I find overly frustrating are the putting problems. I can play 1 course and not have any rollovers but then play another and get it happen 4-5 times, and I honestly feel the only time I've over hit the shot is on a long put where I might have not taken in to count the undulations.

    the other annoying thing with EA is it's very hard to understand why it's a struggle to often to land a 4 iron and sometimes a 5 iron on a green without it rolling off the green so consistently.

    I only purchased 2k23 last week so still getting a feel for the game. I agree it comes over more arcade compared to EA, but even with slightly faster greens there are times you can land a 3 wood on the green and still finish on the green. I played for a good few hours yesterday and enjoyed it more than I did from Sunday (once I started to get the hang of the control stick) but at the moment I've not ventured over amature, were as EA before having to start from scratch I was starting to venture into sim
