If you do the basic training challenges first then all of these terms get explained.
Advanced gir is an approach shot which is draw, fade, high or low. Draws and fades are the devil in this game so I suggest using a "high" shot for any "advanced gir" challenges.
The challenges appear bugged to me today. The menus are laggy and I have clearly done a simple one to just chip balls on to the green and it isnt registering them at all. Yesterday was ok, not so today. Maybe its the servers playing up or something.
Same experience here. Menus are super laggy today. Also, I am working on the Par 4 challenge...I hit all three Advanced Fairways in Regulation twice now and not getting credit for it. Ugh.
