Re: No Stars - Challenges not registering upon completion.

I have had this same experience on the PS5. 

I am having the same issue

I can’t even access the sponsor challenges. Where are they?!

Career mode, the coach challenge will change to sponsor challenge if you use the right stick.... or just wait.

Summarize your bug For driving challenge 2 I can not hit a long drive a single time. Iv used max power and gone over the prefect meter spot several times and cannot get one star. It’s impossible to get perfect on 5 shots in a row of that’s what it is asking. Also the game randomly disconnects from the servers at times and you lose all progress you have made.
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play driving challenge 2
What happens when the bug occurs? No starts gained
What do you expect to see? Obtain stars for max power and FIR

Cannot obtain the stars needed

I completed this challenge earlier this evening on PS5. My guess is that you weren't using the driver, as from memory it rather stupidly defaulted to a 3 wood so if you didn't change the club selection the challenge wouldn't complete no matter how you hit each shot.

How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Attempt to start taylormade/ping #3 sponsor challenges and the menu is buggy. Create female character and wear sleeveless shirt and look at the characters neck - missing.
What happens when the bug occurs? Button mashing X to even get into it, even restarting ps5 doesn't help. Can't wear that particular apparel as it's invisible skin and their neck.
What do you expect to see? More fluency in the menus/game and apparel being worn correctly.

Challenge menus and in challenges are glitchy, I'm button mashing X just to get into any challenge, massive delay in actually starting it and being rewarded the stars for the completion of challenges is inconsistent, I restart the challenge and it rewards me 2 holes in from previous run. When trying bring up scorecard you cannot back out.

Clothing for female characters are also glitchy, sleeveless shirts with low neck line show no neck and can see through to the characters back.

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play the challenge yourself.
What happens when the bug occurs? You do not get a star unlock mid round for the 10 long drives..Then upon completion of the 18 hole challenge, when you beat DJ and go bogey free you do not get the remaining 2 stars...So to summarise, none of the stars unlock even though I bombed every drive, never missed a fairway, shot -10 to DJ's level par and never hit a bogey.
What do you expect to see? The challenge stars to complete.

So when completing this challenge, whether that's all 3 parts of it or just single parts of it, no stars are gained after the round completes even if you met all the criteria.  Attached the screenshot of the challenge in question.

I appreciate the advice, Iv tried everything power drive, regular drive you name it. Tried for at least a hour testing out various techniques. Did you have to get perfect on the backswing to get the stars? Did you do have to do that 5 times in a row?!

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Do the challenge.

Summarize your bug Chalenges no longer register completing the challenge - simple coaching challenge such as hitting 1,2 or 5 FIR - hit one FIR with first ball and no 'star' is awarded so you cant complete the challenge. Happens in all the challenges I've tried such as coaching academy, sponsors etc - all sections. Was working fine but then suddenly couldn't earn any more.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not sure if its happening to others with similar setup, but it started ok then suddenly cant earn any more -anywhere
What happens when the bug occurs? No stars are awarded for completing any part of a challenge - have tried in coaching academy and some sponsors ones too and nothing when i complete all or part of the challenge.
What do you expect to see? This fixed - as well as other bugs!

Cant really screen shot this as it doesnt show the evidence that ive actually hit the Fairway, or the green etc, but whatever I try, I get no stars and therefore no XP or other rewards.

Needs to be fixed ASAP or this takes a LOT away from the game.

Please hit 'Me too' if you've had this issue so it gets noticed.

Rewards don't seem to be working for any part of Career

I am having the same problem, worked about 4 hours ago when I played for about an hour. Tried just now and not registering when I achieve the goals set, so no stars given. I know they were running updates this week to fix bug, but didnt see any update when i logged back in.

Same here, seems to be across the board, nobody from EA interested in replying either

Me too and buggy menu with button presses taking an age to register on series x. Was fine yesterday

.Another bugged challenge to add to your ever growing list of bugs. Very disappointing.

Mines just started 2 hours ago on the cobra sponsor with lexi Thompson. I made 3 birdies then the match ended with no star giving. Went back to the menu and now my game is moving slow. The screen won't go to no other menus until 30 secs later after I press it. My coaching academy menu was saying coming soon. I did a different sponsor to see if it works but same story

No I certainly didn't get 5 perfects. I play on the hard swing difficulty and I'm not remotely good enough to do that! I just hit basic drives as I haven't unlocked the power driver, and all were over 100%. I get the feeling that there may be a wider issue with challenges that has started since I unlocked this though going by other threads here.

I found this problem whilst trying to complete the Adidas challenge with Joaquin Niemann. I got to the end and realised that I had no stars despite beating Niemann and getting a birdie every hole.

I then tried other challenges and found that none of them were granting stars despite completing the exact requirements.

Same issue here. Worked earlier today but nothing now.  Not a great first impression of this game.
