I completed this challenge earlier this evening on PS5. My guess is that you weren't using the driver, as from memory it rather stupidly defaulted to a 3 wood so if you didn't change the club selection the challenge wouldn't complete no matter how you hit each shot.
I appreciate the advice, Iv tried everything power drive, regular drive you name it. Tried for at least a hour testing out various techniques. Did you have to get perfect on the backswing to get the stars? Did you do have to do that 5 times in a row?!

No I certainly didn't get 5 perfects. I play on the hard swing difficulty and I'm not remotely good enough to do that! I just hit basic drives as I haven't unlocked the power driver, and all were over 100%. I get the feeling that there may be a wider issue with challenges that has started since I unlocked this though going by other threads here.
Yeah it’s rough. Now my menus won’t load and it says my challenges are locked. Everything is lagging and there was just an update!!! This game has issues
All challenges seem to be working but driving challenge 2 , I still cannot get alt all 5 long drives ,I have 2 stars for 2 long drives since before patch any help thanks

Do you believe you've managed to hit 5 drives at over 100% that have finished on the fairway?
This is ridiculous but probably true for many of the challenges. Certain conditions need ot be met, particular club for example, and the challenge is not awarding stars because of it. Too nice of a game to have such easy to fix glitches if you ask me.

Needing to use a specified club or shot type is not a glitch. There are issues with a few challenges but players still need to read exactly what is specified and do that.
