Re: Putting/Hole Physics

If people don't think something is right, they have every right to say so in my opinion.

And what if it is bad coding? Good coding certainly isn't responsible for things like this:

That's the 11th at Royal Liverpool

Or maybe:

That's the 18th at LACC

Or perhaps the 13th at TPC Scottsdale:

As long as the roll-overs that stop one inch past the hole, or the lip-hangers like that keep happening, I won't just 'accept it and move on to the next tee', instead I will carry on protesting that there are issues with the ball and hole interactions, irrespective of how many people choose to say it's okay for them so everybody else must be wrong.

@Noya_WesaIt's interesting you posted this. I was playing Whistling Straights last night and had a slow rolling ball seem to go into and then ended up on the otherside of the cup. Funny thing is that it happened to my opponent as well on the same hole.

But what I was referring to is I had a similar result as your picture, but my ball was even further inside the cup. Where my ball lipped out but visually it is levitating inside the cup.

There is no question this game is flawed... and putting is just one of many issues.

In these pictures, no one can claim “It’s Golf” because this doesn’t happen in real life. I just watched Nelly Korda play today. She made some putts and she also missed some birdie putts. The “it’s golf” works in her game. In reality, there is a much larger chance of seeing Nelly Korda dance the Funky Chicken than see a putt from the screenshots get done.

More than likely just a graphics glitch not showing the ball in the proper place. It's not falling in because it's not really over the hole.
