Well that's great for you, but do you know what a lot of other people playing the game recreationally have? A thing called "Life".
What's wrong with putting people in groups according to their skill level or at least rebalance tournament payouts so majority of the average/slightly above average players don't loose out? Do you really believe you have to be able to put 100s of hours into a title before you're allowed to enjoy it or have competitions according to your skill level? What's all that ELO nonsense other games use anyways?
Look, i'm shooting better than the OP (according to their post), but i'm shooting worse than you, and you bet i will doublecheck leaderboards before entering any tournament. I like the basic idea of how online tournaments work in this game, but it surely needs some tweaking imho to make it a fun and engaging experience for everyone, not only those with 2 maxed out characters and according career completions.
