To EA IT team and others et al,
Something on the EA side must have changed. For some reason the game has been connecting to servers and working almost flawlessly at least on my end. I have all my firewall and router settings back at their original settings.
Probably just jinxed myself here but I have been p[laying with no issues (well except for a few) for almost 3 weeks! Before I was lucky to get one hour of play time prior to being dropped from the connection.
EA what did you do that made this better?
Now for the rest of the story. In the Korn Ferry tour in the Brandon dunes course very intermittently I get some small screen over the top of the rest of the GUI or whatever hold I am on when it pops up. You can see through the small blue window and you can actually use the club as normal and hit the ball but you just cant see what the heck you are doing with the other small graphic/pop up over the top. I have to "close" the game and come back into it and it then works.
I will say that since the connectivity issue at least on my end appears to have been resolved I am really liking the game. Now I have seen times where the wind is blowing right at 6 mph and I hit a perfect straight ball yet it goes the opposite way. Also certain sand buckers seem to always or most always suck the ball in no matter what you do or where you hit. ODD that the AI fails a bit here or the game is just screwing with me and doing what it was programmed to do.
Hopeful the rest of you guys can get better connectivity.
