@-Roasted513-I don't think it's the wind that is the problem. It's the dispersion that causes it. If you get a huge pull with a driver into a 15 mph wind blowing right, the ball will barely move right. If you get right dispersion, the ball will play like a 25 mph wind. I don't think that the wind is the problem itself. It's just when you have random dispersion the effects of the wind can be drastically exaggerated or muted depending on the direction of dispersion you get.

@packattack04082 the wind IS an issue, it always has been and until people can understand that it IS going to continue to be a problem that -EA- will ignore.
I'm not a top ranked player for no reason.......
  • @-Roasted513- How can you know it's the wind when the dispersion can be 15 yard left? If a ball is pulled all the way to the left side of the dispersion zone into a 15 mph wind, the wind will barely touch that ball. If dispersion zones were 100% gone, I believe the wind would be fine. I'm the top ranked tournament Player on PS5 so you just gotta get used to it.

@packattack04082 you don't understand when I'm saying, I play WITH the wind quite a bit (tour and sim mostly), -example- when an 8mph cross wind acts like nothing a good portion of the time there's an issue, then a 2 mph acting like a 10+ there's a major problem. I don't hit draw/fades when the wind is whipping because I can't trust it... the wind is a MAJOR problem in this game regardless...... just because you can't see that doesn't mean someone else doesn't have that problem

@packattack04082 here is another example of how bad the wind is, hit into a we'll say a 10mph and the wind does NOTHING to knock the ball down, then the opposite, hit with the 10mph wind and the ball flies 10's of yards from your target, or maybe with will do nothing here as well, thats how bad the wind is in this game......
  • @-Roasted513- I'm not saying that the wind doesn't feel incredibly inconsistent. I'm just saying that I believe that the only reason it feels so inconsistent is because there is a huge dispersion zone for most shots. When balls go the opposite direction of the wind, it went that way solely due to the dispersion zone, not because the wind was a problem. When a 2 mph wind plays like a 10 mph wind, it's because dispersion was in the direction the wind was blowing. You keep ignoring the dispersion zone and how large a role it plays in all of this game. The ball can literally land anywhere in a 30+ foot circle or more sometimes so the inconsistency that I feel while playing the game is always a direct result of that huge landing zone.
  • @-Roasted513-I've never experienced a 10mph headwind or 10mph tailwind do nothing. Head/tail winds always play out relatively how I expect. That is how I know that left/right winds feel so crappy solely because of shot dispersion.

@packattack04082 put it this way, the issue with the wind is the speed, not direction. most shots I hit are pinpoint accurate (except when the wind is wrong)
