They don't do much because this game is on life support, not important to them. It's not making them money.

Love this comment. I don’t even think Eiza Gonzalez from the movie Ambulance, Madame Web (another paramedic) and Dr J come put this game in the recovery room.

Economics is the main reason no warning or fix on the defective tournaments. UFC 5 is a thriving EA game and there are warnings about server issues and bi-weekly updates on new fighters. If PGA Tour is making as much money as UFC 5, the tournaments would have been fixed two months or a warning would appear.

We have a subscription with the Financial Post, we see news for EA from time to time. Sometimes in February, they announced they were cutting their workforce by 5%, 670 jobs. They said they were concentrating on franchises attracting large online audiences, like Apex Legends, Battlefield, EA Sports FC, Madden NFL,The Sims. There was no golf in there.

This week, they announced a new College Football game for this summer, devs working on this game are not coming from thin air. They're coming from games making no money like this one.

I have not seen a College Football game for a while; the last one was NCAA Football 14. Actually excited about that one. I agree the devs for PGA Tour would move on to the NCAA Football game. If that game delivers, it would join Madden as one of top franchises. If it disappoints, it joins PGA Tour in the Life Support Group.

You mean EA Tiburon developers are working on another game developed by EA Tiburon? Amazing insights in this thread.

@lolwhat1234 EA Tiburon is working on College Football 25. The last iteration (College Football 14) was a money maker; the reason there was no sequels was because of licensing issues. The new iteration is expected to be the next money maker; Madden 25 is up after this one. With the focus on College Football 25 and Madden 25, the resources would unlikely be available for EA PGA Tour.

Funny cause this game with its flaws is still waaaay better than Madden.  That game jumped the shark years ago.
